Cultivating Independence – Kashaana Khan

Kashaana is a small business entrepreneur who has just started her venture with Forever Living – specialising in Aloe Vera-based health and wellness products. Starting her entrepreneurial journey with this well-established health and wellness brand gives her an edge as diversifies from her initial role as a writer of content and legal contracts.

Her recent move to Dubai, in 2020, was a positive decision, which has brought her the realization that she does not have to live to work but work to live and enjoy her life. She has always wanted to be her “own boss” and she is very happy to have become it. Talking about her work and how she facilitates her operations, Kashaana states, “Forever Living operates in well over 100 countries and is completely online, so you only pay for the products you order which are then delivered straight to your doorstep. This makes it all very efficient and hasslefree”.

Kashaana believes every woman needs to be financially independent. She wants her daughter to learn about money management from an early age. She believes, this knowledge is crucial for a successful life. She cherishes her experience of living in Prague on her own during her TEFL studies as a pivotal moment in life to convince herself that she can be on her own and successful. Talking more about  her future aspirations she states, “I wish to be able to travel extensively and meet people, developing relationships wherever I go, so that I can eventually grow my business beyond the local”.

Kashaana believes that every woman holds a lot of strength in herself. She can use this as a force to change her life and her own circumstances. She states, “Never believe that you are too old to change your life’s path or that it’s ever too late”.
