Prathiba Tiwari Launched Prasha to Win Hearts

Here is an interview with Prathiba – the founder of Prasha, which is a platform for artisans who have incredible skills but lack the resources to showcase them.

Tell us about your brand and its inception in detail.

Taking inspiration from some home-grown brands, I launched my own company Prasha in December 2021 with the simple goal of winning the hearts of people all over the world. Prasha is a brand that specializes in hand-painted footwear, hand-stitched footwear, handmade and handcrafted jewelry, organic skincare, and handmade caps with handwritten captions. The goal was not only to run business but also to assist people who were unable to hunt out opportunities.

What do you believe is the greatest achievement in your life? How did you make it possible? Share a few facts from your journey.

Prasha is one of the most wonderful things that has ever happened to me. It’s amazing to be a part of such a collaborative team. Prasha has done an outstanding job thus far, and the risk I took in starting a global firm has shown to be worthwhile. Prasha provides a platform for artisans who have incredible skills but lack the resources to showcase them. We began handmade art shows, house exhibits, and live exhibits to engage with customers and ensure their happiness with the authenticity of the art and product.

It is not possible for anyone to reach a certain level without a driving force. What have been your greatest driving forces? What kept you motivated through life’s journey?

My team has been an inspiration. I call them heroes of Prasha Artisans. These are people whose talents were amazing but unreachable; some of them struggled to put food on the table. On the other hand, customers had difficulty locating authentic artwork online. Online shopping was not a pleasant experience. Their challenges kept me motivated and provided me with the biggest driving factor to establish Prasha. But together we achieved and together we shall continue to achieve more.

Q4. What has been the most exciting story in your journey? Something that clicked with you and is unforgettable?

My brand received the prize for a best-emerging brand, and we were featured in 89.1 radio4 stories for our handcrafted and one-of-a-kind products. These are the two most memorable occasions throughout Prasha’s journey. This would not be possible without the help of my amazing team and wonderful consumers.

Q5. What sets you apart from others in your field?

Prasha is for everyone; our range is from affordable to luxe category brands. People may easily afford the prices of these handmade and handcrafted products and organic cosmetics. If you buy Prasha items, you will be pleased with the product’s quality and the fabric utilized. We have Indian and Western collections. The variety is enticing and I am sure, you can buy everything in one place.

Q6. What are your present priorities and where do you envision yourself in the future? What are your strengths? How did you discover them?

Prasha is not the typical business, where we simply look at the numbers at the end of the month or try to develop the business! It is much more than that – it is about assisting and supporting local skills and reaching out to our wonderful consumers who support us. My team members are my strength, and in the future, I would like to see Prasha as a growing and well-known brand in India.

Q7. What advice do you have for mothers and wives? How do you believe they should make personal development and growth possible?

My advice is easy to follow: Keep learning. Learning has no age or age limit. The ability and desire to learn are significant. They can benefit you in many phases of your life, including your professional life. Volunteering is a fantastic way to do good, develop new skills, and get useful perspective. Be more aware of who you are. Self-awareness is an essential tool for self-development.

Q8. Who has inspired you the most in your life, and how?

A few home-grown brands caught my attention and encouraged me to build something, not just for business goals but also to help those unable to seek out possibilities. I decided to build something that will benefit the artists that work behind the scenes. They inspired me to do something big in my life; without their support, this brand would not be possible. Q9. Give one message to our readers.  Swami Vivekananda said, “Never say ‘no’, never say ‘I cannot’, for you are infinite. All the power is within you. You can do anything.” Always be strong and never say no to anything. You can make any impossible task possible, if you desire. I started this brand because I wanted to give a platform to artisans, who have incredible skills but do not have visibility and resources to have a market presence; some of them were struggling to provide for their families. I decided to provide them a platform to shine and make a life. I am successful in doing this. Also, it would not have been possible without the help of my incredible team, who never said no and welcomed all levels of work. Q10. How can readers connect with your brand?  We started handmade art exhibits, home exhibits, and live exhibits to engage with customers and ensure their happiness with the authenticity of the art and product. We have an extensive collection of shoes, earrings, and cosmetics. We emphasize diversity so that there is something for everyone’s taste and beliefs.
